About the author
Amber Bremner is a writer, photographer and passionate plant-based foodie, based in Hamilton, New Zealand. She’s proud mama to two thriving lifelong vegetarian daughters. Although not formally trained as a chef or nutritionist, making a mess in the kitchen has been one of her favourite ways to spend time since she was a child. Amber loves nothing more than being surprised by food and takes absolute delight in trying and sharing new ideas. Amber’s recipes and food articles regularly feature in Nourish magazine and Kiwi Gardener. Her blog, Quite Good Food, was a finalist - best food website in the 2019 NZ Food Media Awards.

Straight-forward ingredients
I use a wide range of produce, legumes, grains, tofu, tempeh, seeds, nuts and spices to create delicious meals that my family loves. All ingredients are easily sourced from supermarkets and the smaller family-run shops in my neighbourhood, so you shouldn’t struggle to find any ‘weird ingredients’.
